Default Helix Power Tower...

http://www.performanceproducts...pe=20

what in the world is this thing? I've been searching for some reviews, but haven't seen to much. The ones I have seen say they like it.

Is this something I should possibly buy? or should I be slapped in the face for even bringing it up?

my best guess is a throttle body spacer, that has grooves for the air. Now, the throttle body spacer itself is suppose to help with the airflow have more of a forceful push to it. I guess . but the grooves actually are suppose to help mix the fuel and the air together more, because you have a spiraling motion. I actually have done that to my motocross bike before, but not so angeled. I think those are too sharp, and would restrict the airflow. Mine were about a 10-20 degree spiral. Anyways, everything can make horsepower if you own the dyno and get to change things like they do. Anyone else have any input on this thing. I wouldn't waste my money personally, but what ever floats your boat. .02$

well, I realize the dyno is ****. If it gave it a 3hp increase I'd be impressed.

It was just something I bumped into, I didn't know what it was. I doubt I'll buy it, just curious

cool
Oh, bye the way, if you want, I if you end up porting your throttle body, and if you want those spirals, just mark them with a marker, and drimmel them out. Make sure they are very smooth and equal. Go with the thought that this is how the air is gonna move when you are marking them off to drimmel. Don't do too much of an angel, just imagine what will hold up air, and what will go with the flow. Later, good luck
