obd2 distributor in an obd1 car
Get the OBDI plugs for the distibutor, and buy a soldering iron, some solder, and electrical tape. I think the rest is self explanitory.
Just to throw this out there, you can get an OBD-1 VTEC distributor from Acura pretty cheap. the sub base assembly will cost you around $100 and I think you could switch the parts over, ie ignitor, cap and rotor. Just an idea.

so the wiring is the same just the plugs are different? For sure?
I didn't want to spend more money , if i could make it work.

I've done it before. But with a 97 Ls distributor being rewired to OBDI. Should be the same. Just check the coloring and amount of wires there are before you start cutting stuff.

Thanks guys,
I'm new here so this has been a great help, I have done some swaps before but never had to mix and match things, just the easy swaps.
