Distributor repinning OBD1 to OBD2 !@?!@?

DISTRIBUTOR repinning OBD2 to OBD1 !
Ok well after failed attempts of getting that phillips screw that holds the plastic rotor. I searched and saw a couple of threads regarding a repinning a OBD2 Distributor to OBD1 Connectors.. I was able to find a diagram of what colors pertain to the plugs. BUT I see my OBD2 has 8 wires as to OBD1 has 9. Anyways my question is how do I repin the wires ? Do i rip tem off the plugs and strip them or what? I have both distributor availiable just that my orignal OBD1 Dizzy gave it out on me so i have my Y8 distributor. So if some one can guide me on how i repin them i would appreciate it .Heres the diagram i found

UP help im taking my car to mechanic tommorow and i need to get my car over there and the distributor is my only problem from that
