1992 cx d16z6 swAP...(ecu ?)
Im getting ready to purchase a D16Z6 swap for my 92 CX hatch.. I know the swap will be plug and play but the swap wont come with the P28 ecu. So my ? is will I be able to run my stock CX ECU on the swap safely? I know VTEC isnt gonna work but will the CX ecu work till I find a P28?
Thanks,
Chris

i ran a dx ecu on a vtec motor no problem to get through de inspection. i had a bad cx ecu so i dont know if thats why it was running rich or not.
cx use will not work corectly.. it uses a 1-wire 02. your better off getting the p28, but a po6 will work fine, but no vtec and a revlimit of 6500

Ditto.. so your best bet is to either purchase a P28 or if you can (I have one for sale) get a VX ecu and you can chip with a P28 rom and it will work the same.
