I have no heat when i move the temp slider to hot...it stays cold..i have been thinkin it might be the thermostat but i cant find on...if there is one..or it might be that the heater core is no good or it is disconnected for some reason. check your thermostat and maybe check your coolant. when mines had air in the coolant my heater wouldn't get hot. try all the easier stuff first. the heater core is located underneath your dash.
yeh but it's a pain in the *** to get to. yeh check your thurmostat first like he said. if it's suck shut then you won't get any heat. always while your behind your dash make sure the plugs to your heater controls didn't come loose. that happneds sometimes. na when you check yer fluid make sure to burp your hoses...
If your thermostat was stuck then your car will also overheat.. most go open when they break.. check the line that goes to your heater core and then check the water valve to make sure its moving.
You should do a forum search. This issue has popped up many times...
If your heater was working before and suddenly just stopped working then I am almost sure it's your wire that connects to your hot/cold slider or **** or your fan control ****/slider.
Otherwise check your control valve by the firewall & thermostat.
