Default suspension help needed por favor

ok well i had my new rims and tires put on my car today, along with tokico blues and H&R sports and a skunk2 camber kit up front. When it was all said and done, i was happy with the ride height, but not how the front wheels stuck out of the sides of the wheel well. They stick out rather far....Now these rims and tires arnt that much wider than my stock ones, and my cars only lowered 1.8 in the front.

How can i make my front wheels get tucked back into the wheel well where they belong? i think it looks goofy as f#%k, and want it normal! ahh someone please give me some advice.

thanks guys.

bump....really need to know about all this....i want to get it fixed. My tech at goodyear said that my toe is bad, and that it needs alignment still. will this potentially fix this problem?

You say you had a camber kit installed - did you get an alignment done?

EDIT:

Yes you need an alignment immediately because changinc amber RUINS toe, which wears tires WORSE than if you you never installed the camber kits.

It will also make the tires stick out on the side closest to the front bumper - am I right?

I have no clue what your talking about....

have any pics....

I see many ways your tires can stick out.....

if you stand in front of your car and see down the side of the car how do your tires stick out?? /-----\ or \-----/

or if you look at your car from the top.... /-----\ or \-----/

Dude please take some pics or something.

Sounds like you didn't even need a camber kit and they made your camber way positive, which sucks.

Sucks when people who install **** like that have no clue what they're doing.

When I align a car I make sure it has some negative camber that still keeps it within factory specs.

Positive camber is worse than negative camber. Positive camber causes the car to handle like **** and it looks retarded, and you're more likely to scrub the fender well and edge of the tires.

You're allowed a full -1 degree up front on almost all Civics. Chances are you did not even need a camber kit.

Also any shop that willingly installs a camber kit without doing an alignment is a piece of **** hack shop. that **** is borderline dangerous because it throws toe so far out that the car is way easy to lose control of.

Call them and tell them you want these specs:

Front:

Toe - .04
Camber - -.5

Rear:

Toe - .08
Camber - -1.5

You're aloowed max -1 degree of camber up front and a full -2 in the rear according to Honda.

Also the toe specs are dead in the middle of the allowances.
