95 Coupe side molding
My black side molding on my 95 EX is all faded and cracked, well, basically it looks like ****. Until i can figure out what to do i have been putting tire wet on it to keep the faded color look dark..anyways
Ok i want to pull the molding off, and I was told its just 3M double sided tape, so i started to pull the molding off on the driver side door and i could see a hole (for a clip or something) are there holes all along the door? If so can i fill them without it looking like ****?

the moldings are held on by clips and one nut on the door latch end of the door. if you take them off you'll be left with holes and unless you know how to weld and paint i would recommend you just paint the moldings. take them all off and get some trim black from an autobody supply store. scratchpad them with a fine scratch pad. then use a good pre-paint solvent to remove the wax/grease so the paint will stick. put on 3 even medium coats and it will look good
