I have the hideous EJ1 pinstipe on my car. I can't tell if its painted on, or if its a sticker. If its a sticker, I can just use a blow dryer to get it out. If its painted on, what are some things I can do to get it removed?

 

strip it in that area and get it repainted? i would try a heat gun if its a sticker

 

Well thats what I want to know... If its a sticker, or if its painted on... The pinstipe is down the ENTIRE side of the car, so I'd be painting that whole side.

 

Only one way to find out, take a sharp razor blade and carefully try to get under it. I'd try going at it in a descrete area too, not some place that is easily noticeable.

 

just try to lift up a corner of it with your fingernail. if you can't get it it's either painted on or cleared over.

 

its most likely just a sticker, so use the hairdryer

you should be able to peel it off, the use goo gone to get rid of the leftover cuck

 

God, I hope so. That thing is driving my nuts. When my front end was fucked, and I got it put back together, I tried to have the body shop buff it out and they told me "THey stopped doing it because they were afraid of wrecking my paint" ummm... What?
