high idle problem changed throttle body searched already
hey i had a cracked tbody on my ls manifold with my b20 civic. so today i put the gsr throttle body on it and the idle is constant at 3k rpm's and when i move the idle screw it only goes to 2700 at lowest. i have no clue what the problem is...i messed with a lot of stuff and i cant figure it out. the throttle plate is not open at all. have any clue what it could be? any help is appreciated.

when i pull off the iacv the idle goes to normal...but then when i drive it with it off it boggs when it gets to like 3300 rpm's...what the hell could be wrong?
Does your GS-R Tbody have a FITV? Did you hook up the coolant lines to it?? If you did not hook up the coolant lines, nor screwed in the ring inside the FITV (disables FITV), then this will cause a vacuum leak.
But having a constant high idle makes it seem like your TPS is out of whack. Did you mess with the Tbody plate stop screw?

im throwing a code 7 for this which is TPS sensor...do you know what the problem could be? the tps sensor worked fine when i took it off my 98 ls tb now its on the 95 GSR TB and it idles really high...what is the problem???
Samething happened to me in my GSR.. IT was the FITV on the TB.. and i took it off and the screw inside came completely loose so i tightened it.. Good as new. GOod luck.

do you think that this could be causing my problem? (idle around 3k)? when im getting a code 7 for tps
Bust out a multimeter and measure the TPS output: @ idle =.45v
Take off the intake piping and cover the bottom hole in the tbody that leads to the FITV...what happens to the idle?

Yeah more then likely it is that. My B18 was doing that a month ago. It was reving at around 3,000 and kept on climbing. I screwed fitv back down as tight as i could get it and it is driving fine. And my computer threw the same code I think.
FITV is good...when i cover up the top hole inside the TB the idle stays regular...what could be the problem???
