Default fuses

alright i replaced a blown fuse with a new one and everytime i turn my car on it shorts... what do i do?

Start by telling us
1.)what fuse is blowing...
2.)Any recent modifications to your car
3.)Any noticeable problems other than fuse blowing over and over.
Then, maybe we can help a lil...

cigg/lighter fuse
put in a stereo systems 3 weeks ago
no other problems that i can think of

I would pull the radio out and see if you pinched and shorted any of the wires form the cig lighter when you were installing the radio.

A friend of mine got a wire for something pinched between the radio's cage and the metal framing in the dash which bit through the rubber coating on the wire and was causing it to short out on the metal in the dash. Sooo... pull the radio and check all of your wires, if one of them has been damaged and has copper exposed then that would do it... if so, just tape it up or splice in a wire connector where it is damaged.
