REV valvetrain or PORTFLOW??
I'm getting my B16a head built at local machine shop this week. The shop recomends REV valves, springs, and retainers. I wanted to use Portflow springs, retainers, and flat faced valves. What would you guys pick?
The motor is b16a, CTR slugs, CTR cams, mugen head gasket, Edelbrock intake mani, header and exhaust. It's an ITE car for SCCA and I'm also going to try to make it to some honda challenge events.

I'd go Portflow as well. Or if you're a baller, check out Rocket's lineup of valves, springs and retainers.

Rev springs and retainers are a snap fit. This reduces wear known for titanium retainers. I use Rev up to 9,500 rpms. Also know a few others that personally ran the revs. 1 b20vtec here had the valvetrain inspected for wear around 15,000 miles and found no problems that are sometimes found with skunk2's and so forth.
10,000 miles on my b20/vtec, revin way too high and rev valves have treated me good, but i use kms engineering springs and ti retainers, and they are priced dirt cheap and perform very well like 300 for springs and retainers.
