Since BAR probably be dropped for the Jordan team thats been with Honda longer then BAR..that and they did better on avg...BAR will probably lose the Honda engines and backing..though that could mean they will get picked up by some else and just come back with another engine setup. There is rurmor BAR people where talking to Toyota F1 people..hmm I wonder..if they do that, that be sure slap in the face to Honda. From past experience I think the Toyota engine will do well if it runs reliable and strong..then all is needed is good driver.

There is a rumour that Volkswagen wants to join F1 and have ben talking to Jordan. They both deny it of course but I think there is something there. The now president of VW was at BMW and headed up their return to F1....
Actually Toyota can sell them engines. Ferrari does this with Prost team I believe they get last yr's crate engines. Plus there not really rivial if they are not with Honda anymore. What that does is give any maker more crediablity that there engines are better and such if other teams want to run there engines. Also it counts toward constructor points if I'm not mistaken. Plus even if they won a race they get alot promotion from the annoucers just saying yeap and those cars are running those new Toyota engines and there blowing the rest away. BMW can even do this now..they just sell off there old engines from this yr. No matter what there getting promoted and also money for those engines and tech work.
You are right, Ferrari is selling last years engine - that is an important distinction. There is no way a works team like Ferrari or Toyota will sell another team their exact engine.. what if they got beat by it? Don't forget that Ferrari and Toyota will be the only two teams running the entire show thmselves - engine, chassis, personnell, etc, or a F1 team next year...
W may see Toyota supply an engine in the near future to another team, but I doubt it.
