B21 help!
iight i was wondering if anyone has a B21 in their ride or knows anything about them... i have been looking for stuff on the web and can't seem to find much info on them.... i was wondering what the stock specs are HP? ft/lbs Torque? V-tec? can you boost them? anything else ya'll can think off to add... bolt ons yada yada.... anything at all... thanks peeps... I love H-T
ive heard of people taking B20 block and put a B16 head and it has a *** load of torque, i think they call it a "crvtec" because it come out of a crv. Im not for sure about all this because ive heard it from others so i dont know if its true
no such thing as a b21. unless u take a b20 and stroke it, but then it would probably be a b24 or somewhere around there.
Both b20b's and b20z's are non-vtec.
you can put a b16 head on em but it is probably more reliable to stroke a b18c.

B21 comes from a 89 Prelude si... 2.1L very rare.....</TD></TR></TABLE>
Yes, the b21a1 did come in the 90-91 Prelude Si models. They have 140 HP and 135 ft/lbs. They are also the WORST Honda motor made, they are pretty much junk and don't respond well to mods at all. They typically put down 110 HP stock, but they have an different lining of the cylinders and that is why they all burn oil, my b21a1 was shot after 138K miles.
IMO, don't even bother with that motor, you will waste your $$$$.
One more thing, while it is a b series motor, it has nothing in common with the new B series, b16, b18 etc... The parts will not match up.

my b21 has over 200,000 miles on it...burns oil like a bastard (expected) but still pulls hard, and is not slow at all...thanks to good torque numbers and a short gear box
