Default Radio/Heater Doesn't Work

'91 Acura Integra GS

The car was stalling while driving and was not starting sometimes. Found out that the pigs tail (the switch behind the ignition key cylinder) was shot. So I replaced it with a new dealer unit. The car also has a remote control alarm (which the alarm doesn't work but the remote keyless did) so I connected the cables exactly the way they were with the old setup.

Now, everything on the car works except, the remote doorlock doesn't work, the radio doesn't work (as if the ignition key was not on the ACC/ON position - cause it does get power and light up) and the blower doesn't work (although the A/C button lights up when I turn the switch On).

So............ My only guess is, the Accesory wire that powers up the radio and heater controls is having some problem. But I don't know which wire it is, nor I'm not sure if there is such a wire!

Okay, tonight I went out to check it out. I got my little tool to check the fuses. All of them were okay, some had to be pushed in a little to make the light go on. Also I turned on his heater fan on with the key on the "On" position, and jiggled the fuses with no hope.

There was a 40 am big fuse for the heater motor itself. It seemed to be in good shape.

Okay, now here are the symptoms:

* When the key is on, the radio and heater motor does not work, but whem you turm the lights on, they light up.

* When you press the DISP button on the JVC aftermarket head unit, the display goes on, the antenna goes up and in a second or two, the antenna goes back down and the radio turns off.

I believe there is a wire from the ignition switch that powers up the radio and heater motor when the key is on the ON position. Does anyone have any wiring diagrams, or can anybody guide me with this?

PS: Hey oMekoneDC2, does that 40 amp big fuse power up the radio aswell, or just the blower motor?

i think its the radio also, it happend to him a few times while it was snowing and both his heat and his radio would not work at all untill he got a new fuse. its one of those big square 1s.
