I've heard that there is a 2nd gear grinding problem on the EP3, is it true?

And I've heard they are discontinuing the EP3 after this year. Redesign, or cancellation?

If anyone has any info on these two questions, please let me know. Thanks.

 

...true on both accounts to a certain extent.

2nd gear grind = expereinced by some not all (you have to remember this is an enthusiast site and "driving" here follows along that route)

No more EP = end of cycle + slow sales

 

I don't believe the EP's demise is due to slow sales at all. Honda doesn't keep the Si going for very long before pulling the plug. The 99-00 Si had two model years and it sold just fine.

As far as I know they sell pretty easily. SO 04 is the last year for them?

in any case Im glad the EP3 will be out of porduction, especially since you don't see too many as it is here in Toronto
