Default oil pressure sender was leaking then part of block broke!

the top part of the threading broke off when takign the oil pressure sender out to put guage, this was a while back, hehe my simplest solution was to keep pouring jb weld over it to seal it, worked for a good 5 months after motor was running, then theheat started making the jb pry away from the block, i was thinking rent a welder and just weld the hole completely shut, i have a oil filter sandwich so i will still get the oil pressure sender to work, while doing this i also got a hondata intake manifold gasket, what do u guys think? think i can weld it good with the intake manifold off? i dotn wanna pull the motor if not needed please help!
