Oil pressure port! SOME ONE HELP please!
Hi i need some advice please!
I have a 93 civic si with a d16z6
I was installing my oil pressure guage,
As i was tightening the hose adapter onto the enging block
The adapter snapped , half still inside the block.
So now im left with no oil pressure guage.
And no oem oil pressure light
And i have a little pissing hole of oil.
Now i tried to put a little high temp silicone around the opening,
let it dry for 2 and a half hours and poof it pissed more oil.
Now im left with a litre of oil in the pan and half a litre in my bottle and 3 litlres all over the floor.
What do you guys suggest i do?
My only two ideas are....
1.Jack the car back up, clean the messy oil every where up, and high temp silicone/gasket maker the inside of the port and around the outside and go nuts, and allow a full 24 hours drying time.
2.Nervous breakdown
I need my car for work every day this is going to make me bus.
PLEASE SOME ONE HELP ME!

use teflon tape not silicone! but looks like you need to buy a plug for it of some sort or tap it back out. grease the tool so the shavings dont fall in the motor.

I was using teflon tape around the threads,
Would towing it to a repair shop just make the most sence
and pay the labour ?
