Default have the codes please help

this is a 90 accord ex automatic trans.
just finished a swaping the engine (new engine came from a 92 accord dx manual)
CODE 6>>coolant temperature. is this because the white container on the side of the radiator if full and i mean full.
CODE 14. idle air control. >>> i have no idea about this but when i went to get the car from the mechanic he was working on a valve on the top right side of the engine and the rpm were going up and down up and down. where do i start to fix the problem
CODE 41>>> oxygen sensor heater. the heater in the car works fine. is the O2 sensor located under the car on top of the muffler?????? if not where is located???
how much will it cost me to buy a a temperature sensor(code 6) and a idle air control valve(code 14) and a O2 sensor(code 41)????????? is it hard for the instalation?????????

It does not mean that you got codes indicating sensor problems that you need to replace the sensors at all.

THe codes are set because your ecu detected some problems. Not really because the sensors are bad..

When getting TC's on a swap, it is sometimes difficult to diagnos since something may not be hooked up right.. It is possible that your coolant sensor is not plugged in correctly or you have damaged the wirese from the sensor to the ecu... Check that first. Then bleed the system... Sometimes, when you coolant temp sensor reading is out of whack, it will throw off your idle and o2 sensor...

Now once you do all this, remove fuse to ECU to reset and start the car. Note any codes...

as far as the code 6 you may want to check the ect sensors. below the distibutor and on the front water neck. they have the same plug and can very easily be switched. you may want to try to switch the plugs around and erase the codes hopefully this should fix the code 6 prob!
