Intake for a '95 Civic W/ 1,6 VTEC engine?

Could you reccomend a good intake for my friends '95 Civic EXi (I think it is) with the 1,6 VTEC motor. He looked into a K&N one today but he's wondering if that's the way to go. Any advice???
