if my assumption is correct you are saying that you are sucking in a lot of air in through the intake? meaning its loud i think is what your saying at idle in my 95 si that has the same motor i can clearly hear the intake sucking air in it is loud and just how they sound if you have an aftermarket intake

ok i had no spark so i used the ignition coil and module out of a 95 civic 16 valve and i have a 95 civic vtec (would that matter).well it worked i have spark but the firing order is messed up its like 1342 or something when i had my car running i had it in a different order but it was sucking a lot of air through the intake if i put my hand right there it would get stuck big time someone said it might of slipped a tooth on the timing belt i dont know

WAAHT??
i think the ignition modules are the same, i know the coils are. you sure you don't have the plug wires in the wrong order?

Yes you can use the coil and igniter out of a D15B7/D15B8, actually you can use every part of that distributor except for the actual outer casing, everything else is interchangeable. Below is the firing order.
