Precision SC34 57 Trim .48 A/R: Overkill or Not enough?
Hey guys, been lounging around here for a while, did some searching and I'm pretty set on this turbo size. Only thing that i'm not decided on is the A/R. .48 or .63. The .48 would spool a lot quicker if I'm not mistaken.
My goals are very conservative. This will be going on an ITR motor boosting about 7lbs daily driven. Will I run the .48 out too soon with my high redline or will the .63 be too much for the motor?
Thanks, about to order from Art!
edit: does anyone know if the Sc34 compressor housing will require me to shave my block like crazy with an inlinepro manifold? I used to have a Drag3 kit on my car and I had shaved the block a little bit.

I had to shave my webbing very slightly, SC34-E (.63 AR) with Revhard manifold.
Dont be scared of shaving the block.
And as soon as you mention 'conservative' I think the SC34 .48 A/R would be ideal for you.

I think with the redline of a type R you should get the .63.....IMO the .48 would run out of steam up top....plus youll have killer top end
