supercharged lude
I have been havin a problem while daily driving, around 3 to 4 thousand rpms i start to ease into the gas the car while start to jerk like it wants to go but something is holdin it back. But when i race it does fine. drivin at 80mphs at a flat 4000 rpm on I95 the rpm needle started to jump from4 to 7 with out me givin it gas. just seeing if anyone has any ideas.
I had a similar problem due to a loose connection to the ingniter which is in the distributor. It causes misfires thats why your car jerks. Sometimes the connection is good but while accellerating vibration will cause the connection to become loose.
your ignition switch could also cause your tach to jump around,
but i'm leaning towards the ignitor myself.
Do you have this problem only when the car is warm?

just drove home from work car was warm pushed clutch in needle dropped from 5000 to 3000 then stop at 3000 then back firred. raced turbo sohc civic the car did fine then put it in 3rd gear eased on it again about 4000 it did it again but i'll check the distributor.
are you running the JR EMS?
I know the tack jumps around for me in cold weather because the black box was a piece of **** it made the car miss aswell.
my problem was only in very cold weather though...
