Default Prelude SH question

I really didn't know how to search for something like this, so here I go with my question.

When I put my car in reverse, rev it up to about 1.5 K and let go of the clutch with ease, it feels as if the car is about to stall out ...or the brakes are holding it back for a split second ...then the car goes in reverse freely ...without hesitation. I am not letting go of the clutch too early, nor am I holding it in and riding it.

It also does the same for all the gears when I accelerate. I accelerate slow ...and shift at 3k rpm.

Any ideas? I hope something isn't wrong with the car, TIA.

uhm ...it gets into gear and drops down to about 1, 1.5rpm I guess? I doesn't feel like bogging though ...it feels like something is holding my car back

hmm, does it make a faint squeal/squeak sound like two metal surfaces rubbing? Mine started to experience this at about 35K miles and it has continued to get louder + more frequent since.

Yeah I guess you can describe it that way ..it's a very deep groan from the car ...with slight hesitation

yeah i know what you mean...but it's normal...put try put it in 1st gear and let it roll a lil at the lowest RPM posible then gun it...you will notice that lil lag...it's i'm not exactly sure but i think it's a safety feature...cuz my gf's 98 type SH does the same...and i drove a 98 VW beetle and i notice it did the same thing...feels like a lag for a split second then it starting to pull...
