Please Help... dipstick tubing fell out.

Please Help... dipstick tubing fell out.
was checking my oil and the tube that holds dipstick came out of the block.
questions:
1) is there some sort of O-ring or something cause i just slid it back in
2) now when i check my oil it says it's low. But i was full before so there is either a leak or the -d-stick not going down all the way
any help ? please thank you
