Dipstick t00b update
Here is the original story.

Well after some dynamic testing on the 8-9 of this month at Watkins Glen... I am happy to say the the Hondabond repair works very well.
The t00b is nice and tight and the leak is GONE.
I let the car sit over night to allow the 'bond' to cure... and the next morning the repair was complete.
It took me a little while to get the header/heat shield back on.. but once they were on I used the dipstick to help center the t00b correctly and let it sit.

The same thing happened to me yesterday @ gingerman. Thanks for all the info! My t00b is tight now, but it was pretty loose after a full day at the track.
Off to get some H-B.

sweet - thanks for the update Willard. I had the same damn problem with #386 - fixed it with a little JB Weld, and it seems to be holding tight... (fingers crossed)

same here. No probs since the JB Quick fixer upper.... 6 tracks days I believe since then.

Only found out recently that my dipstick moves as well but only when the engine is warm. There was a lot of grime and dirt around where the dipstick goes into the block. I wiped off most of it a couple weeks ago to monitor if there were any leaks and I'm glad to report that there are none. I'm getting the toob replaced by the dealership.
My t00b has been loose for 3 track weekends now. I tried JB quick around and under the "ring" of the t00b, and it seems to have wiggled loose again after 2 days driving. I'm wondering if I reinstalled the t00b properly. Does the t00b snap into place, or do I need to use some force to get it to seat properly?
