Default Desperate for Horsepower

Bare with me gentlement.. I have a 95 EX with the standard SOHC VTEC.. Now i know in order to see big HP gains, go boost or swap. I feel i dont have the knowledge yet for the boost, and i dont have the funds yet for the swap. I have some standard bolt on's AEM short ram, cat-back 2 3/4, performance chip (unkown - came with the car -), DC sports 4-2-1 header, (uninstalled) I need to know if there are any other ways that I can up the Horespower?? Any ideas would be appericated greatly.. thanks

For the greatest power in a single cam, you gotta start working on the head. A good port and polish shows good gains, and going with a more aggressive cam and bump in compression helps a lot os well. And i wouldn't trust any performance chip, no way a chip knows exactly what's ideal for your car. Instead I'd recommend some engine management, Hondata.

Default Re: (eyeamvic)

save up for a swap

you can get a b20 for 700-850 plus mounts and a LS ecu

sell your motor and mods to help afford it

factor how much it will take for you to add horsepower and what it will cost versus a b20 or b18 motor
