well my car has been off the road garaged for the whole winter. she is now boosted with hondata and i need to have it dyno tuned before i can drive it. b/c of the increased power i am installing a new exedy racing clutch....
the problem is I have no way to break in the clutch bc i cant really drive the car until it is tuned.
should i just have it tuned with the STOCK gsr clutch? I will be making close to 300whp so I am sure the gsr clutch wont hold too well.... will the clutch slip on the dyno?

i just need to have the car tuned so i can actually drive it to break in the new clutch in the box waiting for an install...
i have read that slipping clutch can affect dyno numbers but will it affect TUNING capabilities for my hondata?

If it's a puck style, no worries, hit the rollers hard. If it's a street disk, then it's going be be iffy. However, keep in mind, your not bangin gears on the dyno, rolling on till redline.
i have never broken my clutchs in. i just go out and drive normal. i wouldn't put your car on the dyno with the gsr clutch it will slip. i would put exedy clutch in....
thats just my 2 cents....

^^^
thats a good point.
Are you going to be towing it to the dyno or driving it?
--- With a decent enough basemap you should be able to drive it. out of boost and in vacuum to the dyno. ---
If you are driving it then im pretty sure the clutch should bed into the flywheel enough to hold rolling pull.

i have the exedy racing clutch that is $242 on clutchcityonline.com.. its not super heavyduty.
my basemap is way off. the hondata is tuned for 880's, i have 440's
i will be driving it about 5 minutes down the road to the shop, maybe about 3 miles...
