my friend recently went turbo(ls hatch) drag 3 turbo kit with the tial wastegate. and he is having problems closeing the hood. has this happend to any of you? what to do? plz help...thanks

 

do a search theres allot of info on this. are you using the top nipple on the WG???

thats the thing that gets in the way(follow the little red arrow)

 

Best thing to do would be to take off the nipple, if your not using it, if you need it , as for like a boost controller,get a WG elbow like this...........

Cut hole in the skelton of hood.

 

mine did that to. it put a dent in my hood. i bought a waste gate elbow from rev hard for like 40 bucks. get a elbow for it.

where do you purchase that at? I may be in the same situation..I'm running the inline pro mani with the 38mm tial wg and AVCR, so the nipple will be on top. will I run into hodd fitment problems? this is on 00 Si.
