if your intention is to put an itr lsd in your car , you will need the lsd and the final drive ring gear, and its basically a drop in

you may need to shim the motor for clearance

wow

IT WILL NOT LOWER YOUR FINAL DRIVE
YOU MAY HAVE TO SHIM THE DIFF

only difference is that you have an lsd

It's the same final drive, why do you want it?

the b16 final drive is 4.4, most of the b series trannies have 4.4 final drive, with the exeption of the b18b (4.2) and the type R (4.7)

Holy crap. lol.

Thanks for correcting me, but I knew what I was talking about.

BTW - the B16 and B18c5 transmissions (both USDM) have the same gear ratios and final drive ratio.

And... The JDM Type R FD is NOT 4.7. It is 4.785.

You really need to be clearer in your posts, otherwise its very hard to know what it is that you are asking. First you asked about a 4.4 Final drive, now you say you want the ITR LSD.

Yes you can just "throw it in" and you will need to check the clearance, the specs are in the helms manual.

The more details and clearer you present your questions/posts, the better the answers/discussion you will get

Remember, garbage in....
