Default OT: 01-05** almost another victim of road stupidity this morning

This nutcase tried to run me off the road not once, but twice!!!!!

We were entering the fwy on ramp with his dark metallic 98-2000 Ford Explorer (eddie Baurer edition) as i was following behind. To get on the on ramp, its just a simple 90 degree entrance that splits into two lanes, one carpool, the other regular. We get on, i'm in 1st gear and i usually gun it to feel vtec since the onramp doesnt merge to fwy for a good 110-130yds. I gunned it once i saw which lane he was taking (i merge to the unoccupied lane), no cars ahead, VTEC kicks in and as my ft bumper was at his rear tire, he swerves hard, i mean HARD, his suv looked like those test commericals with roller bars on either side to prevent flipping. GOOD lord i thought, but thank god for exceptionally good brakes of the R or i wouldve needed a new ft end. (which now that i think of it wouldnt be such a bad idea..JDM HEHEHE ) So i brake hard, and swerve into his original lane and proceeded to gun it again in 1st gear and as i was overcoming his vehicle with ease, i look over and that motherfakka was giving the middle finger!?!

You'd think it ends there, but no..

I get on to the 2nd lane from left, and waited for him to pull next to me so i can get a good hard look at the a55hole, and as he pulled up to my passenger window, he flipped me off yet again, so we exchanged muted words and hand signs for a brief couple secs as he continue to overcome my vehicle. Once his rear end got to my passenger door, yes passenger door, he swerved yet AGAIN like a madman into my lane!!! We were doing 65-70by now light traffic!! Funny thing was he almost lost control swerving so hard..his entire suv merged on to my lane, and i was pushed to the 1st lane. Thank god for quick reflex or we wouldve been a pretzel.

All i can see about this is.."KARMA BITCH!!!"

EDIT:

FAKK!!!!!! That a55hole did hit me!!!!! Didnt find out this this afternoon when my bro asked, "hey, how come you have a big *** dent on your passenger side?" ShieT!!@!!! Entire right front fender is damaged, slight scratch on bumper as well. Cant believe i didnt notice

Should have left a few paint ***** on his drivers side window... right at his eye level...

Should make him think twice next time...

Reminds me of that time a white explorer almost hit Jason (?) on the way to the Gap or Slopi... something like that.

I have had a few experiences like that with SUV's and Ricers(MASSHOLE DRIVERS). You want to know what i do.

"Uh hello Sir, Theres a Drunk Driver on the highway swerving in and out of traffic and he almost hit a few cars, oh and I have his plate # and type of vehicle"

Then a 30-60 seconds later I usually see the blue lights pulling the A hole over

Yes it works 90% of the time and hey you never know the guy could be drunk or on something, its not like your calling in a fake claim.
One time some punks in an old Saab Turbo kept cutting me off and swerving at my car, I would slow down or speed up and so would they.
I called them in and the officer tells me its a stolen plate Thats right i helped catch some low life thieves I then watched a state trooper fly by me and chase after them. I called back later on and found out they were caught.

good advice, mike. I did that the last time a bunch of ****** threw an egg at my car (not my R thank goodness). Those darn Jeep Grand cheeroke limite editons are QUICK!!! took me a few mins to pull up behind them to get their plates. I have yet to locate this fools yet...

I wouldve done the same this morning but my anger overcame my attention span and total forgot to get plates. Anger and 630am in the morning does that sometimes..

1. Get his license plate and address from the DMV.

2. Buy 2-3 cans of grade A quality sardines in oil. crack open and let ferment in the sun for 2-3 days.

3. pour contents of rancid oil mixture in air vents and driver/passenger doors.

4. put toothpicks in key slots of doors and break off so they can't be removed

5. banana in tailpipe

6. (optional) brake fluid on paint job.

7. Order 4 pizzas with extra sardines to perpetrators home.

8. Order books from Church of Latter Day Saints and ask for volunteer information to above address.

9. Get a female friend of yours to keep phoning the house late at night and leave messages that "Candy called, went to the doctor and has some important information to tell Mr. X".

10. Pour gasoline on front lawn of perpetrator spelling the words "BUYS KIDDIE ****"

REVENGE IS YOURS! (revenge is ok in my book to anyone who tries to kill/harm you with their car with malicious intent)

Bastard road rage idiots.

p.s. I have many other suggestions if you like....heh heh

BPR - who gets even will all those that cross his path

What an *******! Seems like there are too many nutjobs like that these days on the road... I know how pissed of you must have been when it happend, as im sure something like this has happend to most of us and one time or another, but you have to be careful who you exchange words and middle fingers with these days.. you never know whos the crazy bastard with a gun in his glove compartment, just waiting for a reason to pull it out.
As pissed of as I get when some A-hole does something like that, its not worth getting into an argument.. best thing to do like TypeRmsm said, take down the guys plates, and call the Police.. at minnimum they will at least call him and ask him about what happend, or give him a warning.. For most people that is enough to scare them and make them think twice before they try something like that again.

You know what the culprit of all the roadrages are???

SUV's and Minivan's with 200+ HP engines. These soccer fools think that they can out race you and drives like morons. As much as I like horsepower wars between different manufacturers, I think they needs to be a gov't mandated restrictions on Vans and SUV's... like they do in Japan. (Yeah, it won't fly in the good ol' USA, but something to think about.)

I always carry a notepad and a pen... fools mess with me, they'll get a call from the police.

Sorry to hear .... same crap happened to me this past Sat. Some martha fokker in a Vulva thought I was trying to show him up with his girlfriend and dude tries to block me by swerving back and forth in the two lanes. I eventually snuck past him and I was so pissed I forced him to stop and then he tries to go around me in the oncoming lane so I just speed up and blocked him from coming back in.
I just don't understand...

Lots of idiots out there, that should not be surprising.

Best of the best, but it takes a bit of work, is to make sure someone else in another car near you witness the foolish act, take down their plate number as well as the idiots' plate too, report to police with both plate info and demand politely you would like the idiot charge.

Without someone else collabrating with your story, most police forces won't do much, but if you bring information of an unbiased witness, things gets brighter for you quickly.

I have had an idiot charged and convicted with careless driving using the above tactic, had to wait an hour in the cop station but it was well worth it.

Sux that he hit you, if people are being jacknobs i either pass them with as wide a berth as possible or hang back and wait for the accident, no sense in risking car dammage or personal injury "just to show 'em"....i know my car is faster than the majority of people haulers out there, don't have to proove it to some jerk who'd just as soon ram me as go to work. Of course, we all love off-ramps...about a month ago, i was pulling on to 376, there's a long 2-lane downhill offramp that leads to the highway from Squirrel Hill...i was gunning it down the ramp in the right lane, to pass a white nissan pathfinder that was in the left...the passenger of the nissan held out a giant Starbucks cup and proceeded to pour a pretty significant amount of coffee into my lane at about 60 MPH....i had to laugh tho, the airflow made the coffee go all over the side of his truck, and i moved about a foot onto the shoulder ot avoid the spray as i passed....what a waste of coffee

Have you noticed that the fastest drivers (and most of the time worst) are: (from fastest to slowest)
1. Minivan (full of kids)
2. Minivan driven by a single male who is probably upset because he is driving a minivan
3. SUV
4. Single young lady (usually doing something else also, like talking on the phone)
5. A young guy in a Sport Compact Car (basically us)

Usually when someone is doing some road rage stuff, I usually just stay behind them and try to ignore.
