I need to know what other d series oil pan I can use for a d16z6. I know the oil pan pick up sits lower on the z6 so not sure if any other d series pan work. I know the y7 and y8 pans won't work. Did a search and nothing came up.

 

Just curious why is the Y7/Y8 pan any different than the Z6?

Yeah thats newz to me as well. I didnt think there would be any difference but a bolt pattern change is beleivable. Sorry that i cant help you more. Im more of a b-series tech mang .

 

Would a d16a6 work on my z6. Found one for a good price but don't wanna tap it for oil then to just find out it doesn't work. Somebody's gotta know
