LS swap into EG Hatch
I have a few questions, I have a 92 civic Si that I bought without motor and just this weekend I put in a 95 LS motor swap, the motor came with Tranny and harness still attached, So I didnt have to wire anything, I just dropped it in, The motor is in the car and everything is working but I have some questions on the vacuum lines,First I was looking at my boys civic with the same swap, a 92 CIvic si with a Ls swap and the black canister isnt there but the line that comes off a hard line and becomes Rubber goes to the Throttle body and thats about it, his civic runs great. My question is, do I have to remove the Canister and if I dont where do the two Rubber lines run too. One goes to the throttle body and the other to where?? This is all I need to finish my swap.
thats just the charcoal canister...smog equipment. u dont need it to run the car. just plug up the line or just leave them. or u can hook up the lines like they are supposed to be...if u wanna pass the visual part of a smog test.
There is no Smog test like in cali here, So are U are telling me that I dont even need to hook that stuff up, I can run the motor without it, Wont the motor run like sh%t.
