Ok im bored........would my 97 ex be too loud if i just removed the catalytic converter? I hate it right now, it sounds so.....quiet, but im running a little short on cash.....i have none. Any help and info will be awesome. Also if you guys know of anything else pointless i can remove to gain power . Feel free to mention it!

 

Yeah it will be loud and raspy,and you will feel a power increasement best advice buy a testpipe or you can gut your cat

 

take off the muffler or realize that loud exhaust is not that great and no one cares.

 

go for it...loud, raspy, annoying cars are super awesome

you can take your power steering off and AC out...and instead of buying a new cat just hollow your out.

 

 

seriously though, drive around with no muffler or something. you will realize its just annoying and "cool" exhaust noise is just well.... pointless. Think about it... whats the purpose? Do you think girls will be impressed by a loud noise? Your friends? If they are and think its cool, well...imo they are dumb. Now if you put a performance muffler on because you have a built engine or turbo and it happens to be loud at the same time...thats another story. Noise for the sake of noise.... :/
