Default ? about Tein and Spoon Springs

Well I don't want to put to much $ into the suspension as of right now, because I have another project in the works. However I would like to drop the R a bit seeing how it sits a little high. My ? is with either springs I mentioned above do I need to have a camber kit with them. I would like to stay away from this if possible. THANKS

Also which would you all prefer Spoon or Tein Springs

this is just mho:

kg/mm dr racing springs > tein s-tech > spoon

I like the drop and the rates of the kg/mm best..... (lower + stiffer). No camber ki needed.

Tein = soft springrate

Spoon = lowers more than you may like

Either spring is a comproimise in some fashion or another.

KG/MM

I have them and I absolutely love them
the ride with them feels soft but when you corner hard they become stiffer

and the drop is perfect

i have the spoons and i'm currently running skunk2 arms up front and corrected rear camber -- the drop is low enough that i picked up quite a bit of camber.

The Spoons, besides sitting a little too low IMO, also were a little too firm for the stock shocks. The stock dampers were just a little overwhelmed by the rates. I'd probably recommend something softer on stock dampers. Also no camber kit needed up front IMO. Rear, just do the washer trick and you'll be find.

If you're going to change out your springs, I'd just got ahead and spend that extra $100-120 or so and put in a adjustible camber kit (Skunk2 or the likes). In the back, like typer 801 said, do the washer trick.

Negative camber is a good thing, embrace it.

TEN-HA!!!

Just kidding. Considering you're on a budget, try Omnipower.

So is adjustibility

Adjustible = more possible camber

I too have the kg/mm DR progressive lowering springs. I would have to agree with what was said. But like the Spoon progressive springs, The kg/mm, besides sitting a little low, also were a little firm for the stock ITR shocks. The stock dampers seem to be just a little overwhelmed by the rates here on Indiana streets. I would probably go with something softer on stock dampers.

If I want to keep these springs, which shocks should I go with? Koni, KYB AGX, etc?

I also agree with: Also no camber kit needed up front IMO. Rear, just do the washer trick and you'll be fine.

Isn't kg/mm DR the company that makes the Spoon Progressive springs?
