Factory catch can mods?

I am refuring to the black box on the back of my GSR block. I have seen in the past that some people have made modifications to this. If any one knows anything about this or has any input it would be great. Pics and or links would be great. Edit> Its the pcv box.

Sounds like you're referring to the EVAP charcoal cannister. It's an emissions control device, I wouldn't really screw around with it or you'll throw CELs and run like crap.

I think he might be talking about the pcv box ,(has 2 10mm bolts holding it under the intake mani.,pcv hose going to the pcv.)
