I don't know why I tore up a perfectly good engine!!! what was I thinking....

Me and dirtydan went to town on it at about 5 and had the old engine pull and the new engine built by 9:15......

this new engine better put down much better numbers....

new head work
toda c's
toda valve train
toda header
itr tbody
itr intake manifold
power fc
buddy club spec 3 exhaust

I'm hoping for 212 and 138 to the wheels
will see what happen when i hit the dyno on tuesday!!!

engine has 2 20 minute heat cycles.....

took it out and FLOGGED it.....

HOLY COW.....i know now why i changed engines!!!

1.8 is decent, 2.0 is nice

get system down....

can pull an engine in 40 minutes.....
and install and started in 30 minutes....another 30 for axels an shift linkage....

remember this is on a car with out ac and ps!

a/c is really teh biznitch of the two

im hoping for a hour pull out time (i take my time and no power tools)

then another 1.5 hour to put it back in.

faster than a tranny install hopefully

(I work 100 yards away)

Must be nice to have free time and miscellaneous parts lying around to make motors out of. Good numbers for the new build
