Nitrous or Turbo?
I am currently workin on my project: H23 VTEC I built w/ nitrous. I will prob. be working myself up to a 100 shot once I get everything in order.
I have a friend w/ a 240 w/ an SR that got a few big tickets and needs to get rid of some stuff. I am going to be picking up his 55lb injectors, Starion intercooler, and MSD ignition w/ the boost retard function for very cheap.
I have toyed with the idea of going turbo and swapping out OEM pistons to drop compression to 9.3:1 later on down the road, but under the circumstances, I am seriously considering piecing together a turbo kit and going w/ boost. I already have a NOS wet kit sitting at home, it only lacks the jets. I will be spraying for a while.
I need some opinions as to what you guys would do. I could piece together the kit and run about 7 pounds on my current motor, which has a CR of ~10.3:1 w/ OEM pistons. Or I could sell of the parts, make some decent money from the deal and put the money elsewhere..
