Default b18c1 swap question, not the usual questions.

I performed a c1 swap into my del sol S which went extremely smoothly. IABs and vtec worked flawless with first startup. My question is more focused on the electrical system differences between the sol and gsr. Specifically, I was wondering about the fuses. The stock S alternator only puts out about 60amps where as the stock gsr pumps out around 90 right? Do I have to worry about the alt putting out more power then the sol's system was designed to handle. One could say to simply put higher rating fuses in, but are all the wires in the stock harness of a low enough gauge to handle the extra amps?

You shouldn't have anything to worry about. People do these swaps all the time and don't have electrical issues.

I didn't think it really would be or you'd hear more about electrical fires But since it's my daily driver I like to cover all the bases.

your wires/fuses are the same size as the gsr ones.
honda would spend a lot of money in having different size wires in dohc and sohc cars.

so no problems
