Airbag screw is stripped. How do i get it off???

Default Airbag screw is stripped. How do i get it off???

SO Im trying to take my stock steering wheel off to put my new wheel on and one of the two airbag screws is stripped. Its a t30 star head but its stripped clean. How the hell can I get this thing out of here?

I don't know what those bolts look like (flywheel type?), but if worse comes to worse get a dremmel and cut it off.

Or you can use the dremel to cut a slot in the top of the screw, and use a flat head screwdriver to get it off.

thats a torx fastener for all you guys who may not know, but you might try an ez-out or one of those new craftsman screw out tools

did u try using needlenose vicegrips that might work better than a dremel

It's not a very good idea. Before I got my dremel I used this method and effectively destroyed several screws that I ended up having to cut off and drill out.
