Default 94 honda accord wont start!!???

my friend has a 94 honda accord coupe and his car wont start!? when i try to turn the ignition i dont here the starter clickn or i do not hear any noise. He mentioned to me that his deck usually flips twice when ignition is on accessory and his clock usually works, but i do not see no sign of what is wrong. i dont think its a starter problem, but who knows? i was wondering if it was the ignition??

im pretty sure its not the battery because he just changed it like a few months ago. i was told it might be the ignition switch also because they had a recall way back on it

The ignition switch recall is for the '97'-'99 Accord but I've replaced several ignition switches on the 5th generation Accord for a stalling or a no-start complaint.

I would hope your friend can tell the difference between a battery problem and an ignition switch or other electrical problem. If he/she can't, it's a good idea to take it to the dealer (it won't be any cheaper at an aftermarket shop since the ignition switch is a dealer-only item). I'm not trying to scare you away from trying to fix it yourself - with only two screws holding the ignition switch to the ignition cylinder, it's an easy repair. But it's also easy to blow fuses, cross wires and generally screw it up worse than when you started if you're not familiar with that type of work.
