new front bumper
hi, i need a new front bumper.. ive been looking on ebay for one, i found two.. do you think i should spend 100$ for a primed rdy to paint bumper or $170 for an already professionally painted bumper (matching my exterior)
the main question being.. if i bought a primed bumper, and bought a matched spray paint for my car.. would it look as nice?

carpartswholesale.com is a bit better on pricing than most ebay sellers
just got my primed front and back bumper covers, and drivers side fender yesterday
make sure the parts you get are capa certified so theyll just bolt right up

ok, thanks guys. I'll probably buy from carpartswholesale. I'm going to buy a primed front bumper.. so can i just paint it? or do i have to clearcoat it also? (ive never painted my car except for touchups)
primered= already sandout, smoothed and primer(base coat for paint)
you'll need to get number of coat of paint, and of course clearcoat.
don't even try to spray it yourself if you dont have the proper tool and equipment, and no, spray can wouldnt cut it.
they charge about 100 for a good quality oem color paint for a rear/front bumper around here.

spray paints gonna make it look all dull, like your paints about to wear off,if you hold a light against it compared to the rest of ur car ull see the difference, around my area they charge u almost a bill for each bumper you bring in... and its best to bring it in cause u want ur paint matched with the car, i see some heads over here driving around with diferent colored shades of fenders and all that and it doesnt look pretty...
