Fading Bumper
I got a front bumper for my car, but my cars paint is faded. The bumpers paint is not faded. I was wondering if it is possible to quickly fade the bumper to match my car. Would leaving it in the sun be the best way? maybe some other ideas?
haha....that is the completely opposite type of question that is usually in this forum.
Your not gonna be able to quickly fade a bumper, the fade is all about what type of paint is on the bumper, if it has been painted previously by a shop or something and good paint and clear were used, It might actually never fade. If its stock and is in good shape it might take quite a while. but either way its not gonna catch up to your car. haha..

You should try to buff out your fenders to match the bumper. Maybe bring back some of the shine.
How confident are you that the bumper is the right color? It could be a different variation.
