I'm looking to buy a fiber images hood soon but i'm a little worried about the coming snow. I live in buffalo, NY so its going to have a lot of snow, ice, sleet on it, should i leave my stock hood on for winter then get a carbon fiber hood in spring??

 

even though we dont get snow here in sacramento.. i'm taking my cf hood off in a few weeks and willl be back on in the spring..

 

so its a good idea not to have a carbon hood on here in buffalo during the winter??

 

I'd also like to know the answer
