well my friend (takumifujiwara here on H-T) bought a used toyota 20v 4ag motor. we checked out the crank and it has heat marks (rainbow) around all 4 rod journal areas and there is rust around the front main seal. the actual journals look to be in good condition. i said it is most likely warped. what you guys think?

 

I think I would take it to a machine shop and have them check it out. The heat marks are probably from oil starvation at some point.

 

yea, we are hoping it is serviceable but he might just end up getting a stroker. but if he can save some money, hed probably service it. has anyone had this happen to them before?
