Default tinting windows ballpark figure

hi, i was thinking on tinting my windows professionally. But state law says that i cant touch my windshield... i wanted to get like 35% tint on all windows but would it look dumb with no added tint on the windshield? Anyways, anyone know approx. how much it would cost?

is yours a coupe or sedan?

I dunno where you are located but, i paid $145 to get all four of my windows 15%, 5% on the rear window, and a 5% strip across the windshield. that is the best price i found and the guy does a really great job, i have referred my buddies to him and he has done a great job on their cars too. he tinted my old accord that i totalled 20% all around for 145 as well. i checked other places and got quoted an average of about $200.

I had my '02 coupe done w/ 35% tints last year for 200. The guy used Madicco film so it came w/ a lifetime warranty. Make sure the tint has a warranty against turning purple over time.

Are you talking about Cali Tint on Rosemead Blvd.? If so, that's where I went. Mine was about 120 for 5 windows (coupe), came with a lifetime warranty, and looks great.

I don't know many people who tint their windshields. It's quite obvious why it's illegal and not very smart to do in the first place. If you're in So Cal, I can hook you up with the address for Cali Tint if you're interested.

I payed 175 bucks for a 4dr 35% which is dark and a lifetime warranty. And usually winshields have a blue "glare reducer" visor already tinted blue, if your windshield doesn't have that I would suggest getting something for that glaring sun at sunrise/set

What is the max % tint that's legal? I know limo tint is just straight breakin the law, but are there people that actually get pulled over because of it?
