i just put an obd-1 zc in my eg and the distrib cap was broken in transit so i tried the d-15 distrib and it didnt bolt up right but i could hold it on crooked and make it run right so i know the engine is fine , runs great - but i cant bolt it on. so i got the new cap for the broken one and put it on and it didnt work. so now im thinking maybe the sensors inside are on different pins in the plug than my d-15 wiring harness... so i took it all apart and traced the connections on each distrib and they are identical, same components and coil and all. so i swapped the guts and it still didnt work so has anyone had this problem ??? any ideas????
