Default Can you figure out why my car isn't running right?

*Setup in sig*

The car idles kind of weird. Up and down a few hundred RPMs

At high RPMs (between 6-8000) it cuts out. Loses power big time. Kind of feels like it either:

a) is not getting fuel
b) vtec is switching off and on
c) some sort of electrical problem

I have no idea. It runs fine for normal driving, problem is only under acceleration. And it does not happen everytime. I would say it happens 8-10 times. I have dissassembled the distributor, tested everything. Dissassembled the VTEC solenoid/assembly, cleaned, lubed, ect). Replaced plugs. Checked all wiring. And timed it. Still having the problem.

Any help on what this might be would be very much appreciated. If I can't figure it out, the next stop is the honda mechanic ($$$$$$$$).

The pump is fairly new. Same for the filter. If I can't figure anything out, I'll check into those.

Any other ideas
