what do you guys think about runnin 85mm pistons on stock b20 sleeves?

not a good idea, most people dont like running 84.5 on stock sleeves.

id be willing to bet that under hard driving condition the cyl walls would crack. as seeing with most STOCK bore b20 cracking walls with that comprission or just alil higher

Could work, could not work. Every casting of the block turns out a little bit different from the one before it and the one made after it and the B20 is bored rather thin as it is. I would advise resleeving it, especially since the compression ratio will probably end up between 11.2:1 to 11.9:1. Take it these are rough estimates and you can more throughly calculate how much pressure you will be exerting on the cylinder walls by using the compression ratio calculator located at http://www.c-speedracing.com/h...c.php
