Default Good Tranny Specialist in Southern Sunny California?

This is the problem the tranny is having..

If you start the car up..it runs fine...if you put it in first, second, third, fourth, fifth and even reverse..the car acts completly normal.

Before it completly locked up the front wheels...it made a loud knocking noise when I let off on the gas...

Now what it does..is I can take off for about a good for about a second or two..and the front wheels LOCK up.

Then If I pushed the car back a little...it will move again freely ..then every 2-3 feet..the car will lock up again.

Is my tranny fucked?

Any of you track ******...have this dilemma?

You think it will be cheaper to get it fixed then to rather buy a new tranny?

Thanks for any help

Sounds like a differential problem. Possible damaged ring/pinion gears.

Definately sounds like the diff is failing. Time to drop it and open the sucker up. Not that hard IMO, just set a day aside.
