clutch wear.. What's yours like??
Alright, I've had the car for aprox. 10k miles and the clutch has always seemed different than other manuals i'd driven. What do you think, are honda trannys strange???
Say you're at a stop light and you let off the brake and just use the clutch to hold your car in place, assuming you are on a hill or something that will cause the car to roll back, i've always been told this is bad and it makes since, but when i finally let off on the clutch as i go away from the light it feels like it slips. As i increase the gas and let the clutch out, it sounds like it the clutch is just spinning. and i can let off completely and until i let off the gas i'm not going anywhere quickly. Is this a sign of clutch wear or do i need to just quit this habit.
And other times when i try and put power down, not that it's serious power, but the clutch just doesnt seem like it engages like my old S10 pickup or an SE-R spec V.
Should i just accept that i drive an I4 and move on with my problem..... what are your clutches like??? Thanks all
